D. Timothy born

Mr. Born, a partner in the firm, is a trial lawyer, mediator, arbitrator and medical review panel chairman. He also practices in the areas of insurance defense, representing companies and their insureds, local governments and business.

He was admitted to the State Bar in California in 1981, to the Indiana Bar in 1987, and the United States Supreme Court in 1998. He is past President of the Evansville Bar Association and a member of the Indiana State Bar Association having served on its Professionalism Committee and currently serving on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee . He has been named by Indiana Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the top attorneys in Indiana from 2007 through the present.

He is a retired College and High School Baseball Umpire, having worked Division I College Post-Season Conference Tournaments twice and the Indiana High School Baseball State Finals five times. He was also Scoutmaster of one of Evansville’s largest Boy Scout Troops for two stints totaling 8 years.
